Solen was first imagined on the terrace of a café: Clément, Enzo and Thomas were looking for seats in the sun. They meet each other for the first time at HEC Paris and they leave nothing to chance. In the framework of a school project, they start to develop an algorithm to measure the natural light and the sunshine of Parisian terraces from a simple picture.
Following their HEC qualification, they want to continue on the entrepreneurial path. They start thinking about a business model. Natural light is one of the three main choice criterion of buyers but is not subject to any scientific measurement system today. They improve their technological innovation and decide to develop it for the real estate sector. They create the first sunshine and natural light indicator with the Solen certificate.
In 2021, Solen joined the groupSepteo in order to benefit from significant synergies with the group's innovative solutions.
